Nazan Pak is an Istanbul based designer - artist. Color factor comes to prevalence in her designs made using gold, silver and precious stones as well as epoxy resin. Through her creations, she investigates the relations between pure geometric forms and natural forms such as pearl. In her work attaining a third dimension, she creates new shapes formed by uniting repetitive geometric forms, colors and materials. Nazan Pak participates both national and international exhibitions and her work is permanently showcased at galleries in Ankara, New York, Vienna and Istanbul. Exhibition highlights include the V & V Gallery Vitrine Exhibition in 2006 in Vienna and Brigitte Berndt Schmuck in Regensburg Germany. Her work is also selected to the exhibition Valuable Links, Jewels from the OSCE Countries, Maasricht, Nederlands. . Born in Istanbul in 1963, has worked on metalwork and casting in Covered Bazaar, Istanbul between 1985 and 1988, after graduating from the Industrial Design Department of Middle East Technical University. Nazan Pak, is also teaching at the Industrial Design Department of Istanbul Technical University, has been continuing her work since 1993 at the workshop/gallery she established with Ela Cindoruk.
