The use of precious metals, gold, silver and platinum, a wealth of experience and techniques accumulated over the years as a goldsmith and his passion for contemporary art, make Marco Malasomma's jewellery recognizable. Each detail is carried out with the greatest care and attention, from the preparation of alloys, to metal casting, textures and finishes. He tends to prefer essential, clean cut forms and simplicity is the key word in his works.

Born in Caserta – 1968
Represents the fifth generation of goldsmiths in his family since the start in 1842. Apprenticeship in a workshop in Naples for fine jewellery making from 1987 to 1990. Since 1991 working in his own workshop in Caserta, although he is continuing to work with other jewellery workshops.

Since 2010, has been making contemporary jewellery using gold, platinum, silver and bronze and availing himself of traditional techniques.
