Started my studies at "Istituto Statale d'arte Roma 2" attending a three year Goldsmith course and a two year textile, fashion and costume design course; this dualism between jewelry and fashion still persists in my ongoing career.
In 1994 I graduated "summa cum laude" at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Roma, in the Painting section, attending the last year of the course (thanks to European Erasmus Plan) at the Nationaal Hoger Instituut Voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp (Belgium).
Joining the "Scuola del Arte della Medaglia" (Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca Dello Stato, Rome); I learned the bas-relief and sculpture that underlies all my creations and artistic research.
In 1998 I won the annual contest of the school for the years "Calendar Medal" of IPZS Medaglia Calendario (Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato) as part of the project "art and culture towards the 3rd millennium"; the following year I designed the Medal for the restoration of the Capitoline Wolf- Lupa capitolina the ICCRI (Istituto di Credito delle Casse di Risparmio Italiane).
In 1997 I participated and won the prize of the Nobil Collegio di S. Eligio -Università e Nobil Collegio degli orefici gioiellieri argentieri dell'alma città di Roma- (College of Goldsmiths, Jewelers and Silversmiths of Rome) beginning my collaboration with several goldsmith masters in the city, specialising in wax modeling (a technique I use to create all my jewelry)
Since 1998 I teach the Art of Fabric in Fashion and Costume Design in several art institutions.
With the work that I have done in the past years, a binary path of research has developed, on one side a purely formal one made of delineation, clean and well-defined design of masses, while on the other side free and immediate ideas are predominant.
