" The golden age", a mythical period in wich men and animals lived in a perfect harmony, and
well being and happiness were reigning over the world.
The expression derives from Hesiod ( 9th century b.C.) and from Plato ( 429-348 b.C.)
who referred to the initial stage of the human history as the "Golden
age" wich was followed by stages of progressive corruption, indicated as
"the silver age", the " bronze age", the time of the heroes, and the
actual one, called " the iron age".
The expectation of humanity is in the return of the age of joy.
In this case the term "iron age" does not refer to a chronological age, but to a period of evolution, in wich the
iron of the arms and utensils could be recycled and their force converted into an estethic value.
