Ruudt Peters is considered a reference point in the field of contemporary jewellery on an international level. It is difficult to pinpoint one specific theme in Ruudt Peters' work, as there have been indeed many since the beginning of his career, but it can be said that there are certain recurring themes, such as, to name a few, change, ageing, wear and tear, religion, spirituality, mythology. He has often shifted from jewellery making to sculpture and back again.
