Ramon Puig Cuyàs

The 'Walled Gardens' theme was the driving force for making his latest work. "Walled Gardens" allude to gardens which we imagine or which we only just catch a glimpse of through iron gates or over high walls. These Gardens which we cannot enter, which are surrounded and isolated awaken in us the desire to transgress this forbidden boundary. They invite us to jump over these high walls to discover the universe hidden within. Each piece in this series evokes the microcosms of plants and foliage that grow enclosed behind the walls of these small imaginary paradises.
